Commercial Construction Project Manager

ACom Construction Group is currently seeking to add an experienced Construction Project Manager to our team of professionals. Ideal candidate will possess previous experience in leading a team in the commercial construction industry.

To be successful in the position the ideal candidate will exhibit strong project management skills, outstanding communication, and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates with clients to recognize project requirements and guarantees successful project completion
  • Defines the scope and goal of new projects including proposals and delivery installation
  • Aids the estimating department with providing quotes, bids and pricing proposals for new projects
  • Develops highly empathetic client relationships through a consultative, value-focused customer service approach
  • Delivers status reports that define project deliverables to stakeholders and management for budgeting and planning purposes
  • Serves as a single point of contact for all project aspects from planning scheduling to administering changes
  • Ability to review and read blueprints
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams as well as external vendors and building managers to monitor project costs, timescales and resources used to achieve the desired outcome

Qualifications

  • Five years of project management experience
  • Construction industry experience – preferred
  • PMP certification – preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Projects
  • Must have a “can do” attitude
  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate, multi-task, and demonstrate initiative
